Breaker Retrofitting

We offer breaker retrofitting services for users looking to upgrade their existing systems. This process allows a seamless transition to a modern breaker without replacing the entire setup.

For instance, if upgrading from an oil circuit breaker, we remove the operating mechanism and jaw contacts while retaining the existing frame. A new vacuum circuit breaker is then mounted onto the same frame, with a busbar connected to the bushing and wiring integrated into the secondary control disconnect.

This retrofit solution ensures the new breaker easily racks into place, utilizing the existing infrastructure while enhancing efficiency, reliability, and safety.
