CT & PT Testing
Instrument transformers are essential components in electrical systems and are classified into two types: Current Transformers (CT) and Potential Transformers (PT). CTs are primarily used for metering and protection against abnormal current. They accurately measure current levels and help safeguard electrical equipment from excessive loads and faults.
PTs, also known as Voltage Transformers, are used for metering and protection against abnormal voltage. They ensure precise voltage measurement, allowing for safe and efficient monitoring of power systems. Both CTs and PTs play a critical role in maintaining system stability, enabling accurate measurements, and preventing potential failures.
At Nanak Electrical & Power Control, we provide expert services to assess, maintain, and enhance the performance of CTs and PTs, ensuring uninterrupted operation and long-term asset protection.
